Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd, acting on behalf of our client in the Sheffield area, is seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers. The role covers trunking and shift patterns across afternoons and nights with some days possible. Pay rates are £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am–10pm) and £18.29 per hour PAYE (10pm–6am).

Flexible start times and a safety‑minded approach are essential. Applicants must hold a valid UK Class 1 entitlement, DCPC and Digital Tachograph, with at least 6 months' experience and no more than 6

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: afternoons and night mainly with potential for occasional days (drivers must be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £18.29 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)
