People Solutions is recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our client in Garretts Green, Birmingham. This role offers regular ongoing work with fixed start times and a choice of day or night shifts.

The position involves general haulage, loading and securing loads, and complying with road transport and safety regulations. A site-paid induction is provided; no fees are charged during recruitment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles.
• Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence.
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and loading procedures.

Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries and loading/ unloading as required.
• Loading and securing loads safely and efficiently.
• Strapping down loads correctly and performing vehicle checks.
• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations.

Class 1 HGV Driver - Garretts Green, Birmingham

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our well-established client based in Garretts Green, Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering regular, ongoing work with fixed start times and a choice of day or night shifts.

This role would sit applicants who have worked as a Class 1 LGV Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver

Rates of Pay:

• Days: £16.25 per hour
• Nights: £17.25 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts starting at 6:00am
• Night shifts starting at 6:00pm
• Fixed start times
• Flexible working week

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will need:

• Confident in securing and strapping loads
• Reliable with a professional approach
