Westwood Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV drivers in the United Kingdom to operate Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicles for general haulage and multi-drop deliveries. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and professional conduct.

Mon to Fri with various start times; PAYE pay rates are published for day and night shifts across Class 1 and Class 2 roles. We offer benefits and a structured workplace for drivers seeking stability and growth in logistics.

Formación

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence with a clean record and 12 months’ experience.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team members.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to driving roles.
• Ability to work independently with good organisation and reliability.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD, DR or IN10 endorsements.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) truck following road safety rules and company policy.
• Straight trunk of general haulage and timely multi-drop deliveries to customers.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks for safety.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols including driving hours regulations.

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) & HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck to deliver General Haulage efficiently and safely across designated routes or HGV Class 2 multi drop deliveries to customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving modern HGV 1 (C +E) & HGV 2 (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 ( C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Straight Trunk of general Haulage ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs and multi drop deliveries to customers
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) driving license with a clean driving record and 12 months experience
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
• No more than 6 points
• No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing

Monday to Friday Class 1

• £17ph Days - Holidays accrued
• £19.05ph Days- Holidays included
• £18ph Nights - Holidays accrued
• £20.17ph Nights- Holidays included

Monday to Friday Class 2

• £15.50ph Days - Holidays accrued
• £17.46ph Days- Holidays included
