Westwood Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) for day and night trunk runs across various locations in the UK. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and clear communication with site teams.

Successful candidates will hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, have a clean driving record, and be prepared to work Mon to Fri with flexible start times. PAYE pay rates and a benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with a clean driving record
• New drivers with some experience welcome
• No more than 6 points; no DD, DR & IN10 endorsements

Responsabilités

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 curtain sided truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Straight load trunk of general Haulage to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Day and Night drivers (C+E) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicle – the role will involve trunk runs to customer locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 curtain sided truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Straight load trunk of general Haulage to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with a clean driving record - New drivers with some experience welcome
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
• No more than 6 points
• No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing

Mon to Fri with various start times available, month by month bookings.

PAYE Pay rates

• £17ph Days basic - Holidays accrued
• £19.05ph basic - Holidays included
• £18ph Nights basic - Holidays accrued
• £20.17ph basic - Holidays included
• Weekends - £20ph - holidays accrued
• Weekends - £22.41ph - holidays included
