Job summary

Westwood Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV drivers for Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) roles in the United Kingdom. You will operate modern trucks, delivering general haulage with a focus on safety and on-time drops.

Duties include trunking or multi‑drop deliveries, vehicle checks and adherence to driving hours regulations. Mon–Fri shifts with varied start times; PAYE rates listed in the ad and a range of benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) driving license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
• No more than 6 points on license
• No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing

Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) & HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck to deliver General Haulage efficiently and safely across designated routes or HGV Class 2 multi drop deliveries to customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving modern HGV 1 (C +E) & HGV 2 (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.
