Westwood Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV drivers for Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) roles. The job involves operating modern trucks for general haulage or multi-drop deliveries with a strong emphasis on safety and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) driving license with a clean driving record.

• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.
• No more than 6 points on license.
• No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) & HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck to deliver General Haulage efficiently and safely across designated routes or HGV Class 2 multi drop deliveries to customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving modern HGV 1 (C +E) & HGV 2 (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 ( C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Straight Trunk of general Haulage ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs and multi drop deliveries to customers
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) driving license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members

PAYE Pay rates:

• Monday to Friday Class 1
• £17ph Days - Holidays accrued
• £19.05ph Days– Holidays included
• £18ph Nights - Holidays accrued
• £20.17ph Nights - Holidays included
• Monday to Friday Class 2
• £16ph Days - Holidays accrued
• £17.93ph Days– Holidays included
