Job summary

A local government authority in Wales is seeking a motivated Highways Inspector to oversee maintenance and safety of highways. The ideal candidate will have experience in highways maintenance and be skilled in scheduling and repairs. Duties include responding to service requests, preparing work programmes, and supervising highway works, ensuring compliance with established standards.   • Supervise Highway works.
  • Undertake programmed and reactive highway inspections and surveys.

Highway Operations require a Highways Inspector with good broad based experience of highways maintenance, knowledge of scheduling and programming highway works and repairs. Knowledge to determine appropriate repair solutions. Requests from customers. Produce daily, weekly and annual work programmes., Skills: the applicant must be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels both verbally and with particularly good written skills. The applicant must be highly motivated and willing to assist with various activities during each day
