Job summary

Nottingham City Council invites applications for a Heritage Visitor Assistant based at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park and Newstead Abbey. You will work across museum sites, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with pro rata pay for part-time, and a pension-friendly benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience of customer service in museums/visitor attractions is desirable.
• Ability to work across sites including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Good physical stamina for movement, walking, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide outstanding customer service across sites (cafes, kitchens, shops, museums).
• Maintain high presentation standards and ensure site safety and security at all times.
• Support across multiple roles within the heritage site operations.
