Job summary

Vickerstock is recruiting a Heating Technology Support Engineer in Lisburn to join a growing manufacturing business. The role focuses on delivering technical guidance and aftersales support across heating and renewable energy products, with office-based duties and occasional site visits.

You will provide technical support by phone and email, coordinate field engineers, manage customer records and prepare heat loss calculations and quotations using specialist software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing and heating with strong technical knowledge of heating systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication for explaining technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and aftersales support via phone and email.
• Coordinate field engineer activities, scheduling site visits.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service interactions.
• Carry out heat loss calculations and quotations using specialist software.
• Support factory visits, product demonstrations and customer training.
• Attend customer sites to provide technical assistance as needed.
