Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for Boilers & Renewables in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on providing first line technical support for central heating products and related systems to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations, plus internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, heating and renewables, with knowledge of renewables and heat pumps.

Qualifications

• Must have experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector.
• Knowledge in renewables, heat pumps and air sourced heat pumps preferred.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Stable career history.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for central heating products.
• Field inbound telephone queries and provide appropriate solutions.
• Carry out product training and familiarisation for colleagues and customers.
• Produce prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Role Overview

The role of the Technical Support Engineer - Boilers & Renewables will involve:

• Technical Support Engineer dealing with a range of heating solutions such as boilers, heat tanks and renewable heat pumps
• The majority of your time will be acting as first line technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for all queries relating to central heating products
• The remainder of your time offering technical support to internal stakeholders
• Fielding inbound telephone queries and provide appropriate solutions
• Carry out product training and familiarisation for both colleagues and customers
• Prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer - Boilers & Renewables with:

• Must have experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector
• Would be ideal to have knowledge specifically in renewables, heat pumps and air sourced heat pumps however open
• May be open to one of the following or closely related: engineer, installer, technical support, technical engineers, technical advisors
• Positive telephone manor with the ability to resolve customer queries in a professional manor
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Stable career history
