A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker in Yate. The role involves assisting registered nurses with patient care, supporting the rehabilitation process, and promoting patient independence. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with significant experience in direct patient care. The position offers various shifts, including nights and weekends, and contributes to a compassionate healthcare environment.

Our bedded units are located within Skylark, Henderson and South Bristol Community Hospital and have built up a reputation for delivering excellent patient centred care and enthusiastic teamwork.
As a Healthcare Support worker you will assist with the direct care of patients delegated to and supervised by a registered nurse.
Your role will provide support to the nursing team, collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care centred around the core principles of recovery and rehabilitation and the patients wishes.
The service supports patients to recover and regain their independence following admission to an acute hospital and the team consists of registered nurses, therapists, advanced clinical practitioners, General Practitioners and a range on unregistered support workers.

Our service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Working patterns include a combination of day and night shifts, as well as weekend and bank holiday coverage.
