Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Peterborough seeks a Healthcare Assistant to perform clinical observations, assist with patient hygiene, and maintain records. This role requires previous care experience and a Care Certificate. You will collaborate with healthcare colleagues to ensure quality patient care and be responsible for maintaining healthcare equipment. Strong teamwork and initiative are essential attributes for this position, which also requires adherence to infection control protocols.

Healthcare Assistant

The closing date is 22 December 2025

  • Be able to perform clinical observations, report abnormalities, elevate concerns and document on System One accurately
  • Follow appropriate infection prevention and control guidelines in order to protect themselves, colleagues and residents
  • Assist in the provision of personnel hygiene requirements for social care patients, clinics including phlebotomy, vaccinations, ECGs and smoking cessation in line with their skills & proficiencies
Main duties of the job
  • Participate in resident screenings with healthcare colleagues
  • Be able to maintain accurate, timely and legible records of resident's care, including data input and statistical information, as required
  • To contribute to the ordering, distribution, stock control and maintenance of Healthcare equipment and resources
About us

Will participate in all aspects of healthcare admin duties as required including booking appointments, scanning of resident's information and answering queries.
