Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is seeking an exceptional Administration & Support Services Lead for HMP Berwyn. You will head a busy administration and support team delivering healthcare services within one of the UK's largest prisons.

Lead, develop and empower staff, drive improvements, and use data to inform decisions to optimise admin performance across the service. The role requires collaborating with clinical colleagues, prison partners and senior leaders, and involves

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent level of experience
• ILM L3 in Leadership & Management
• Experience of managing a team including appraisal, performance management and sickness
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of procedures, the structure, policies, plans, regulations, management and operational procedures of the Organisation
• Desirable: Experience of using SystmOne

Responsibilities

• Leading a multi-disciplinary administration and support team.
• Creating a positive, high-performing culture where staff feel valued, supported and empowered.
• Developing innovative systems and processes that improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Using data and reporting tools to support operational performance and continuous improvement.
