Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) are recruiting a Team Manager for the Mental Health and Learning Disability Team based at HMP Berwyn. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a prison setting, and drive transformation and governance.

The successful candidate will require an RMN with post-graduate education, and experience at Band 6 or 7, with skills in supervision, clinical policy implementation, and staff development.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Manager to join the Mental Health and Learning Disability Team within the integrated Healthcare Service at HMP Berwyn.

Main duties of the job

As Team Manager, you will provide visible and effective leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing transformation of mental health and learning disability services, ensuring that operational policies, procedures, and practices remain aligned with strategic objectives, service developments, and best practice standards.

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of innovative and evidence-based approaches to care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional development. You will maintain a visible and approachable presence within the service, providing guidance, support, and expert advice to staff while promoting a positive, inclusive, and compassionate working environment.
