Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) are recruiting a Team Manager for the Mental Health and Learning Disability Team based at HMP Berwyn. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a prison setting, and drive transformation and governance.

The successful candidate will require an RMN with post-graduate education, and experience at Band 6 or 7, with skills in supervision, clinical policy implementation, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current registration.
• Postgraduate education in a relevant mental health field.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership to a multidisciplinary team and ensure high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a prison setting.
• Drive transformation of mental health and learning disability services with governance, policies and best practice alignment.
• Promote continuous improvement, staff development and a positive, inclusive working environment.
• Support delivery of safe, effective, and recovery-focused services through clinical governance and risk management.
