Job summary

David Lloyd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee daily club operations, ensure health & safety compliance, and act as Duty Manager.

You will lead a team, train staff, and manage self-employed contractors while upholding high service standards in a premium club environment. Join us to support a thriving, inclusive culture and help members enjoy safe facilities.

Qualifications

• IOSH or NEBOSH or other recognised H&S qualification.
• Facilities Management qualification (HND, Diploma etc).
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations.
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, leisure).

Responsibilities

• Act as Duty Manager and ensure smooth club operation.
• Ensure day-to-day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to.
• Lead a team and train staff in line with company expectations.
• Manage a team of self-employed contractors.

About you:

As Health and Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification

• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)

• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations

• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.

• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)

• Passionate about customer service.
