Experienced Health & Safety Advisor required to join a highly reputable regional contractor. Overseeing £30M civil engineering projects across the South West, these are framework projects for key clients with a strong pipeline of works across the region.
Reporting into the Health & Safety Manager and working closely alongside the operational teams, you will be responsible for ensuring all compliance & works is following the standard UK legislation across projects and throughout the business.
This Health & Safety Advisor role will involve consulting with the clients and site team to ensure they are advised with regards to best practice and strategies within site. Including providing support during the planning stage through to completion.
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will be joining a longstanding Health & Safety team, working together to create a positive culture surrounding Health & Safety via campaigns, and events to promote the business's H&S standards and culture.
This Health & Safety Advisor role is with a busy contractor who specialises in dynamic and complex civil engineering projects nationwide. Traditionally works include heavy infrastructure and earthworks.
Key attributes for the right individual will include previous experience within a civil engineering contractor (essential), strong knowledge surrounding Health & Safety standards and plans. Former experience on similar value schemes within the civil engineering sector is crucial.
