About The Role

Our Head of Strategic Alliances will be establishing and executing commercial and strategic relationships with essential partners and major accounts, aligning with the company's overall objectives, goals, and strategies.

You will be creating a qualified pipeline of opportunities to meet a specific quota, resulting in additional new bookings facilitated by a Strategic Alliance partner strategy.

  • Facilitate and enhance lead generation from partners to support the acquisition of new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the effective sales enablement of partner capabilities and value propositions.
  • Establish governance and process management for monitoring any funding or partner programs that can facilitate and enhance sales opportunities (for instance, Microsoft).
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop joint go-to-market campaigns and propositions aimed at generating a robust sales pipeline.

Strategic partnerships

  • Identifying new partners and implementing strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Negotiating agreements that align with business goals while ensuring mutual benefits, nurturing and enhancing relationships with our current partners.
  • Establishing metrics to evaluate the return on investment from partnerships.
  • Establish alignment with Microsoft in the UK to gain a comprehensive understanding of their product roadmap and ensure our objectives are in sync.

Continuous Improvement & Change Programmes

  • Consistently enhance the organisation of workflows, processes, and data accuracy that impact collaborations and interactions with partners.
  • Act as a change leader in implementing interdepartmental modifications necessary to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of partnerships throughout the business.

Role Requirements

  • Extensive experience of working with Microsoft (other vendors could be applicable) in an Alliance Manager capacity or similar.
  • Previous experience of working within a managed services environment.
