A growing events company in Greater Manchester is looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. The successful candidate will oversee the commercial pipeline, lead innovative marketing campaigns, and coach the sales team to meet KPI targets. Strong relationship-building skills and strategic sales leadership experience are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic team.
£This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence and elevating the brand through strategic sales leadership and innovative marketing campaigns. You will oversee the full commercial pipeline from lead generation through to conversion, and you will act as the central link connecting the Business Development team, Marketing team and Account Manager team.
A key part of this role is to lead the commercial strategy for all immersive experiences, including immersive installations, trails, branded activations, festivals and large scale themed events. This role will involve developing and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and long‑term growth.
You will be leading, coaching and motivating the sales & business development teams to meet KPI's and maximise conversion rates.
You must be comfortable with building strong relationships with key clients, partners, brands, sponsors, agencies and stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are essential.
