A national children's charity is seeking a Head of PR to lead their public relations strategy during a period of significant growth. This remote role involves managing PR strategies, securing impactful media coverage, and enhancing thought leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in the charity sector and excellent media relations skills. The position offers a salary of £55,000 per annum and the possibility of part-time hours.
We’re excited to be supporting a national children’s charity in the search for a new Head of PR to lead their public relations strategy at a time of significant growth and brand transformation, in a remote role based in the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to take the reins of an ambitious PR function, supporting both service-led and high-profile fundraising communications – including a flagship gala event that has welcomed some of the world’s biggest names in entertainment.
You’ll shape and deliver an insight-led PR strategy that elevates brand awareness, enhances thought leadership around disability and neurodivergence, and secures meaningful national media coverage. You’ll also manage external PR agencies and work closely with senior leadership on proactive and reactive media relations.

Location: Remote, within the UK, with ad-hoc travel for team meet-ups. The charity is based in Staffordshire, so if you live close to here, it would be a bonus.
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (37.5 hrs), part-time considered 4 days a week.
