Job summary

Kier Group in its Workplace Solutions team is seeking an Operations Director to provide strategic leadership across the business, driving performance, growth and customer outcomes. Hybrid working with options to work from our Basingstoke, London, Sheffield and Cardiff offices, 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for operational strategy, contractual KPIs, client relationships, and driving sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within facilities management or a complex operational environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience of managing portfolio-level financial performance including P&L.
• Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
• Collaborative leader who promotes teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Leading the operational business and developing strategies to support growth and customer retention
• Maintaining accountability for operational performance across the portfolio, ensuring contractual obligations, KPIs and customer commitments are met
• Developing strategic customer relationships that drive contract performance and satisfaction
• Providing visible, values-led leadership that promotes accountability, inclusion and high performance
• Maintaining oversight of operational, financial, compliance and health and safety performance
