Job summary

Gonini, the AI-native logistics and e-commerce fulfilment start-up, is seeking a Head of Operations to scale its fulfilment engine with lean headcount. You’ll inherit a 4-person team and grow to 6–7, partnering with CEO and board.

You’ll own end-to-end operational excellence across warehouses, 3PL, and seller experience, building Claude-driven automations, data dashboards, and SOPs. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic architecture in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Top-tier management consulting pedigree.
• Frontend operator: work on the shop floor, queues and automation.
• AI-native builder: design and deploy automated operational systems with Claude, Make and Retool.
• Operations depth in a high-growth environment.
• SQL fluency: write joins and aggregations.
• Startup experience: thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Analytical rigour: use data to diagnose problems and measure impact.
• Strong communicator: manage external partners and board-level credibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an existing 4-person ops team to 6–7 within 12 months.
• Build and ship Claude-driven automations and internal tooling.
• Own end-to-end fulfilment processes with warehouses, carriers, and customer support.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and an operational playbook for scale.
