Job summary

Bis Henderson is seeking a Head of Operations E-commerce to lead the distribution and fulfilment strategy for a fast‑growing niche fashion retailer. You will drive a major warehouse upgrade, bring in automation, and build a high‑performing team, improving service levels while managing costs.

The role is hands‑on and strategic, focusing on delivering scalable operations for the next growth phase and partnering with the business to optimise the customer fulfilment journey.

Qualifications

• A track record leading operations in a high-growth B2C or e-commerce business.
• Deep expertise in pick-pack-ship fulfilment and logistics.
• Strong commercial acumen and a tech-first approach to problems.
• Hands-on experience of warehouse moves and automation projects.
• A drive for operational excellence and a genuine focus on the customer.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the end‑to‑end operations strategy
• Lead the warehouse relocation and automation programme from plan to go‑live
• Own the fulfilment centre P&L and the KPIs that drive it
• Build, coach and develop a strong operations team
• Get more from carrier partnerships and take cost out of the supply chain
