Job summary

Dimensions is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to shape and execute growth across the charity's national services. This home-based role with occasional travel places you at the heart of strategic partnerships and tendering activity.

You will lead a talented BD team, collaborate with executive colleagues, and ensure that people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs benefit from high-quality, person-centred opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading business development in social care or related sector.
• Proven ability to build and sustain partnerships with commissioners and partners.
• Track record of delivering strategic growth through tendering and contract development.
• Comfort working with remote, dispersed teams and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Dimensions' business development function with a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support the Commercial Director in delivering strategic growth plans aligned with the organisation's vision.
• Provide strategic commercial insight to regional teams to drive growth, retention and service development.
• Oversee tendering, proposals and business cases to ensure high-quality, robust submissions.
• Ensure the voices and outcomes of people we support remain central to growth activities.
