Job summary

Avalon Group is seeking a proactive Shared Lives Development Specialist to grow and sustain Shared Lives services, recruit and assess carers, raise awareness, and collaborate with local councils, ICB and stakeholders to ensure person-centred, compliant development.

Travel will be required and a full UK driving licence is essential. This is a role that shapes innovative, relationship-based support models within a forward-looking charity focused on respectful, inclusive care.

Qualifications

• Experience in health or social care is desirable.
• Ability to build relationships with carers, professionals and stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive and solutions-focused with good prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, assessing, and supporting Shared Lives carers
• Promoting the Shared Lives model across local communities
• Building strong relationships with commissioners and professionals
• Supporting service growth and development activity
• Ensuring assessments and processes are compliant and person-centred
• Supporting quality assurance and safeguarding processes
• Maintaining records, reporting, and governance systems
