Job summary

Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate is seeking an experienced Head of Finance Change to lead a multi-year transformation across Group Finance. You will align technology, processes, data and people to create a future-ready finance function, delivering measurable benefits while embedding new ways of working.

As part of the Group Finance Leadership Team, you will shape strategy, drive capability development, and oversee a portfolio of change initiatives with clear KPIs.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CPA) or equivalent finance systems expertise.
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional programmes at scale.
• Experience in continuous improvement, process excellence or transformation discipline.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to define and execute a multi-year roadmap aligned with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year Finance change roadmap aligned with strategic business needs and Finance priorities.
• Oversee a portfolio of change initiatives, managing dependencies, risks, issues, budgets and delivery.
• Set and deliver the strategy and lifecycle approach for finance-owned systems.
• Lead development of skills within Group Finance, building a continuous skills-development programme.
• Transform, simplify, standardise and automate end-to-end finance processes with robust controls.
• Establish and govern finance data processes and frameworks to support data integrity and decision-making.
• Provide leadership oversight for the Group-wide project management team.
• Champion continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
• Define meaningful KPIs and use insights to adjust delivery.
