Job summary

AWD Online is seeking a Head of Operations for a field-based, UK-wide leadership role overseeing commercial performance, people development and customer standards across a large multi-site estate. You will own P&L and EBITDA, coach regional leaders, drive growth, and embed operational strategy while travelling regularly to sites across England and beyond to support brand standards and customer experience.

This senior role reports to the top operations leadership and requires proven multi-site

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience across large multi-site networks.
• Proven ability to lead field-based teams and support functions.
• Strong commercial acumen with delivery of sales growth, EBITDA, and P&L.
• Leadership, coaching and succession planning capability.
• Ability to drive operational change and embed new processes across dispersed teams.
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level.
• Analytical, organisational and planning skills with KPI interpretation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel UK-wide.
• Based centrally to the store network including Lancaster, Chester, Grimsby, Nottingham, north and south and south-west London, Surrey and Berkshire.
• Full right to work in the UK - No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional and district leaders, coach and develop teams, and embed company values.
• Drive sales, EBITDA, profit and P&L performance across the estate.
• Implement operational strategy, brand standards and core processes.
• Improve customer experience using feedback, standards and KPIs.
• Maintain health and safety compliance, audits and controls.
• Build relationships with senior leadership, partners and brand stakeholders.
• Lead business reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct coaching and field visits, and participate in project teams.
