Job summary

Bite Talent is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a busy, multi-site operation in the UK. You will manage General Managers, own the P&L, forecast costs and drive performance across hospitality, retail and food service sites.

This role emphasises data-driven decision making, improving customer experience, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering growth across channels. Hybrid work and a strong package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Multi-site leadership experience in hospitality, food service, grocery retail or non-food retail.
• Track record of improving commercial performance and knowing the numbers.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn insights into action.
• Coaching style that develops teams and delivers results with measurable metrics.
• Confident communication and influencing at all levels.
• Eye for detail and process optimization.
• Home base within about an hour of the regions mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop General Managers to build commercial confidence and succession.
• Own P&L, forecast costs and build growth plans.
• Use data to identify site blockers and implement corrective actions.
• Improve customer experience through service, speed and quality.
• Maintain high standards for compliance, health & safety, and food safety.
• Grow sales across channels including delivery and digital.
• Support openings, refurbishments and new initiatives.
