St John Ambulance is seeking a Head of Events Business and Growth to lead national strategy, growth and service quality across the organisation. The role drives multi-year planning, income generation and innovative propositions while managing diverse teams including volunteers and staff.

You will build strong relationships with customers and external partners, ensure financial sustainability and champion safety across all events and activities.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in a complex organisation or service environment.
• Proven ability to develop multi-year strategies that drive sustainable growth and improved performance.
• Strong commercial and customer focus with revenue growth experience.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams through change and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with volunteers and paid staff in a mixed workforce.
• Strong financial and business management skills, including forecasting and resource allocation.
• Effective communicator and influencer with senior stakeholders and partners.
• Educated to degree level (Level 6) or equivalent; Enhanced DBS check readiness.
