Job summary

St John Ambulance seeks a Head of Events Business & Growth to lead the Events portfolio, driving growth, quality and financial sustainability on a national scale. You will shape a compelling healthcare proposition, develop a capable leadership team and build strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders.

You will oversee strategy execution, resource planning and risk management while championing innovation and data-driven delivery across events and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in a complex organisation or service environment with multi-year strategy delivery.
• Strong commercial focus with experience growing services and achieving financial sustainability.
• Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage people development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a multi-year strategy aligned with organisational objectives and market ambitions.
• Drive sustainable growth, financial performance, income generation and new market opportunities.
• Shape a competitive national events healthcare proposition informed by customer insight and market trends.
