Job summary

Trade Mastermind is seeking a Head of Events in Peterborough to own strategy, planning and delivery of 20+ events per month across workshops, conferences and exhibitions. You will lead a growing events team, partner with sales and marketing, and develop sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue and brand growth.

The role requires 5+ years in senior event roles, strong leadership, budget management and a track record of scaling events in a fast-paced environment. Salary £60,000 + benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior event management roles.
• Experience managing a high volume of events.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong commercial understanding and budget management skills.
• Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience scaling an events department.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall events strategy for Trade Mastermind.
• Lead the planning and delivery of 20+ monthly events.
• Create sponsorship packages and strategic brand partnerships.
• Oversee event logistics from concept to execution.
• Own and manage event budgets and vendor contracts.
• Track performance and implement improvements based on data.
