Job summary

PZ Cussons is seeking a Head of Digital and Ecommerce in Manchester for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will shape and lead the commercial digital growth strategy, optimise online channels, and build a high-performing team across D2C, marketplaces, and omnichannel partners.

Reporting to the Europe Sales Director, you will own P&L across online channels, drive ROI, digital content, and digital transformation initiatives, collaborating with marketing, sales and supply chain to win online at

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in eCommerce or digital sales with multi-channel growth.
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, marketplaces and performance metrics.
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of online customer economics and ROI.
• Digital transformation leadership and embedding new tools and processes.
• Forecasting and planning for digital channels within broader commercial plans.
• Understanding retailer.com, marketplace management and website experience.
• Data analytics and customer journey mapping capabilities.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and ability to upskill teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a market-leading ecommerce strategy across D2C, marketplaces and omnichannel partners.
• Own the ecommerce P&L, revenue targets and profitability; manage trade budgets and ROI-driven investments.
• Strengthen digital brand presence across websites, social, paid media and CRM.
• Partner with retailers and platforms to improve product discoverability and digital shelf performance.
• Lead digital transformation through data, tools and automation across marketing, sales and supply chain.
• Oversee digital operations: site performance, content, merchandising, stock availability and fulfilment.
• Build an integrated ecommerce ecosystem to enable the business to win online at scale.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams; foster innovation and a test-and-learn culture.
