Job summary

PZ Cussons in Manchester is hiring a Head of Digital and eCommerce on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will shape and lead the commercial digital growth strategy, optimize online channels and drive a high-performing team across marketing, sales, and supply chain.

The role reports to the Europe Sales Director and requires proven ecommerce leadership, P&L ownership and a data-driven approach to accelerate revenue across D2C, marketplaces, and omnichannel partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Significant experience in ecommerce/digital sales with multi-channel growth.
• Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms, marketplaces and performance metrics.
• Digital transformation leadership across marketing, sales and supply chain.
• Business planning and forecasting for digital channels.
• Deep understanding of retailer.com, marketplace management and content excellence.
• Technical and data capabilities in analytics and customer journey mapping.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a market leading ecommerce strategy to accelerate revenue growth across channels.
• Own the ecommerce P&L, revenue targets, profitability and ROI-driven investments.
• Strengthen digital brand presence across websites, social, paid media and CRM.
• Manage relationships with online retailers and marketplaces to improve shelf performance.
• Lead digital transformation and build cross-functional digital capability.
• Oversee digital operations: site performance, content, merchandising, stock and fulfilment.
• Build an integrated ecommerce ecosystem and lead a high-performing team.
