Job summary
AWE seeks a Head of Domain Delivery - BU to lead the interface between business units and Digital Services, translating demand into secure, scalable digital and data solutions. You will oversee Domain Leads, align with enterprise architecture, and drive domain-led change across the organisation from a fully onsite role.
The role requires proven leadership across complex digital transformations, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to govern delivery through architecture and security
Qualifications
- Proven leadership of complex digital, data or IT-enabled transformation programmes across multiple business domains.
- Experience with structured delivery frameworks (portfolio management, architecture governance, agile/waterfall).
- Deep understanding of capability-led design and operating model transformation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management across business and technical functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic interface between business units and Digital Services to capture demand and translate into digital solutions.
- Oversee a team of Domain Leads and align delivery with enterprise architecture and governance.
- Drive domain-led change and ensure alignment with strategic priorities and architecture standards.
- Ensure domain delivery integrates with cybersecurity and delivery assurance frameworks.
- Govern data governance, data integrity, access, retention, and interoperability standards.
- Ensure governance across service design, testing, transition, and lifecycle management of digital services.
