Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates in Manchester seeks a Head of Design for premium bedding and bathroom textiles. You will lead a small team, drive design concepts, and work closely with retailers and executives to deliver on brand vision.

Candidate must have a minimum of six years' experience in premium home textiles, strong CAD skills (AVA, Illustrator, Photoshop), and a hands-on approach to product development and trade show appearances.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years’ experience in home textiles with premium bedding and bathroom
Educated to degree level in textiles or related field
Hands-on in the business and role, with ability to manage a small design team

Responsibilities

Lead the design team to create premium bedding and bathroom products
Collaborate with Head of Product and directors to ensure bulk production efficiency
Source fabrics and techniques via overseas suppliers and trade fairs
Present designs confidently to customers and internal stakeholders
Develop and dress trade shows and showrooms in the UK and abroad
Create CADs for packaging requirements and care labels
Develop colourways and trend resources for target markets
Adhere to project critical paths and approve factory submissions
