Job Description:

Our Client is seeking an Interim Head of Credit Risk with strong mortgages experience. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience within mortgages
• Practical experience managing credit risk throughout the credit cycle
• Knowledge of expert and judgmental lending approaches, as well as portfolio/modelled risk management
• Experience developing and embedding risk management frameworks, collaborating with internal and external partners
• Ability to develop and enhance management information systems for oversight and decision-making
• Understanding of the regulatory environment related to credit risk and UK banking/financial market trends
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience presenting to Boards, Non-executive directors, or regulators
• Ability to promote a positive risk culture within teams
