This newly created position leads Lloyd’s Claims Operations to pursue operational efficiency, focusing on value-added activities through the right infrastructure and access to information.

This leadership role drives innovation in data, technology, and reporting, forging partnerships across the market and with regulators to ensure robust and innovative processes and high data quality for effective strategic decisions. You need to be a strategic thinker, with an appetite for change and improvement, to deliver the key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement solutions to areas requiring efficiency improvements. Continuously assess team activities to ensure smart working, in conjunction with the Director of Claims, and evolve the Target Operating Model.
  2. Decide on innovation initiatives with the Innovation lead, including preparing Claims for BluePrint2 delivery.
  3. Lead the data improvement initiative for Claims.
  4. Project manage initiatives related to Claims strategy, maintaining and evolving the Efficient Resource Model, and analyzing end-to-end processes to encourage stakeholders, including Managing Agents and brokers, to shorten cycles and enhance the Lloyd’s platform.
  5. Manage and report on the delivery of objectives, budgets, and projects.
  6. Oversee all outsource/vendor relations.
  7. Ensure all processes are efficient, documented, and understood, including liaising with other functions, creating reciprocal data flows, and forums for intelligence sharing.
  8. Liaise with market representatives (LMA, LIIBA, and Operations heads in Managing Agents) on operational initiatives.
  9. Manage all regulator relationships (including Lloyd’s Europe), ensuring compliance, documenting regulatory processes, and maintaining adherence evidence.

Reporting to the Claims Director of Lloyd’s, this role is part of the claims leadership team, playing a vital role in the strategic and operational performance of the market.
