Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a strategic Head of AI to join the executive leadership team. You will shape the firm’s AI direction, partner with innovation and technology teams, and drive transformation of products and services through AI initiatives.

You will report to the CEO and interact with boards and senior leadership. The role requires deep technical expertise in AI, strong business acumen, and a growth-oriented leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (CS/DS/Statistics/Engineering).
• 10+ years in AI strategy/transformation and leadership roles.
• Proven ability to drive AI-enabled transformation across large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive AI and technology strategy.
• Lead AI research and development initiatives and evaluate new AI technologies.
• Manage budget, governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement at the executive level.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing AI and technology team.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and investment teams to deliver ethical AI solutions.
