Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and maintain spotless, welcoming guest rooms and public areas at The Kingslodge Inn in Durham. You’ll oversee cleaning schedules, manage linen and supplies, train staff, report maintenance, and ensure safety standards while delivering exceptional guest service and timely responses to guest requests.

Job description

As Head Housekeeper, you'll bring your friendly, detail-oriented nature to the role, ensuring a spotless, welcoming environment. Calm under pressure, you'll exceed guest expectations by reacting promptly to requests and maintaining high standards throughout.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you'll guide with professionalism, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail. Your duties will include overseeing the cleaning of rooms and public areas, promptly reporting maintenance issues, managing linen and supplies, and training new and existing staff. You'll follow safety guidelines, work closely with the team to create memorable visits, and provide regular updates to the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.
