Job summary

The Inn Collection Group in Northallerton is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring spotless rooms and public areas and delivering warm hospitality.

You will train staff, manage linen and supplies, and report maintenance issues promptly. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards to create memorable guest visits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping team in hospitality.
• Proven ability to train and mentor staff.
• Strong focus on cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of rooms and public areas to ensure spotless standards.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs.
• Manage linen, supplies, and inventory for housekeeping.
• Train and develop new and existing staff; uphold safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with General Manager to ensure smooth operations.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Head Housekeeper, you'll bring your friendly, detail-oriented nature to the role, ensuring a spotless, welcoming environment. Calm under pressure, you'll exceed guest expectations by reacting promptly to requests and maintaining high standards throughout.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you'll guide with professionalism, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail. Your duties will include overseeing the cleaning of rooms and public areas, promptly reporting maintenance issues, managing linen and supplies, and training new and existing staff. You'll follow safety guidelines, work closely with the team to create memorable visits, and provide regular updates to the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.
