Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper at Lansdowne care home in Swindon to maintain a welcoming, clean and safe environment for residents and staff. You will lead housekeeping tasks, supervise spaces and collaborate with the management team to uphold high hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have a housekeeping background, experience in care settings, and a pride-in-work attitude. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and ongoing development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.
• Housekeeping experience, ideally in a care home.
• Willingness to work 36 hours per week including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping all communal areas clean, tidy and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Care for rooms with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms with proper safety signage.
• Collaborate with management to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Share kindness with residents through small daily interactions and connections.

What we’re looking for

• A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude and pride in your work
• To work 36 hours per week to include alternative weekends
• Experience within a housekeeping role ideally in a care home
