Job summary

Lansdowne Hill Care Home, part of Agincare, is seeking a Heads Housekeeper to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors in Swindon. The role focuses on ensuring high standards of hygiene and tidy spaces across all communal areas and residents’ rooms.

You will work 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with a minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK. A positive attitude and pride in your work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within a housekeeping role ideally in a care home

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
