Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper at Lansdowne care home in Swindon to maintain a welcoming, clean and safe environment for residents and staff. You will lead housekeeping tasks, supervise spaces and collaborate with the management team to uphold high hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have a housekeeping background, experience in care settings, and a pride-in-work attitude. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and ongoing development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months.
Positive attitude and pride in your work.
Housekeeping experience, ideally in a care home.
Willingness to work 36 hours per week including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment by keeping all communal areas clean, tidy and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues.
Care for rooms with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms with proper safety signage.
Collaborate with management to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Share kindness with residents through small daily interactions and connections.
