Job summary

Trafalgar Care Home, operated by Agincare, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, welcoming spaces for residents. The role focuses on communal areas and resident rooms, with emphasis on safety and comfort. You will join a team dedicated to high standards of hygiene and resident well-being.

Working 12 hours per week (3pm–7pm Tue/Thu/Fri), you’ll contribute to a warm home environment. Agincare has over 5,500 staff nationwide and a long history of quality care across the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.
• This is a part-time role: 12 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping communal areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Care for rooms with dusting, polishing and vacuuming to a high standard.
• Collaborate with management to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Show kindness through daily interactions with residents.

What we’re looking for

About the role

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
