Job summary

Agincare is recruiting a Head Housekeeper for Lansdowne Hill Care Home in Swindon. You will lead housekeeping for communal areas and residents' rooms, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role is 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends, paid at £13.12 per hour. We offer funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5, ongoing development, a pension, and Blue Light Card benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a housekeeping role, ideally in a care home.
• Willing to work 36 hours per week including alternate weekends.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping communal areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Room care with pride—dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents' rooms with safety signage.
• Collaborate with the management team to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Engage with residents in a kind and supportive manner during daily tasks.
