Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to perform at their best while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

We look for someone who:

  • Creates a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensures an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Understands financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spots opportunities for improvement.
  • Builds a coaching culture within the team, focusing on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Is a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of making quick decisions.

What we look for:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations with team members.
  • Proven experience in maintaining food, health, and safety standards.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
