Senior Sous Chef | Glasgow Central Area | Full Time

The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What You Will Do |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, understand financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Build a strong team through recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

What We Look For |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach, ensuring your team feels supported.
  • Proven ability to maintain high food, health, safety standards, and manage financial aspects like GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected.
