Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Head Chef to manage two on-site kitchens at Baker Barracks, Thorney Island, Emsworth. You will oversee kitchen operations, control costs, and deliver innovative menus within budgets to drive sales.

Requirements include NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills, a clean Enhanced DBS, and a valid UK right to work. Physical site location and transport access are essential, with strong opportunities for progression and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills.
• Experience in a similar educational environment.
• Lived in UK for the past 3 years and right to work in the UK; must pass security vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Managing chefs across two kitchens on site.
• Managing and ordering stock.
• Undertaking stock takes.
• Producing menu signage for Front of House.
• Managing menu cycles and food offerings.
• Ensuring all kitchen teams follow Aramark and food safety policies and procedures.
