Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations at Palace Barracks, Holywood. You will manage a small team, control stock, design menus, and ensure high food standards while adhering to budgets.

Requirements include NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills and DBS checks. A strong emphasis on cost efficiency and staff development is highlighted with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills.
• Experience in a similar educational environment is desirable.
• Clean Enhanced DBS or basic background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Managing a small team to provide catering services.
• Managing and ordering stock.
• Undertaking stock takes.
• Producing menu signage for Front of House.
• Managing menu cycles and food offerings.
• Ensuring all kitchen teams follow Aramark and food safety policies and procedures.
