Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Head Chef at Palace Barracks, Holywood, BT18 9RA. You will lead a small catering team, manage stock, and produce menu signage while ensuring budgetary adherence and high-quality menus.

The role requires NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills and a clean Enhanced DBS, with UK residency for the last 3 years and full right to work. A 40-hour week across 5 days, some weekends, and extensive staff development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills.
• Clean Enhanced DBS.
• Experience in a similar educational environment.
• UK resident for the past 3 years and legal right to work in the UK; able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Managing a small team to provide catering services.
• Managing and ordering stock.
• Undertaking stock takes.
• Producing menu signage for Front of House.
• Managing menu cycles and food offerings.
• Ensuring all kitchen teams follow Aramark and food safety policies and procedures.
